Raymond Holland Dock Workers Memorial Fund
June 20, 2012
The Raymond Holland Dock Workers Memorial Fund, (RHDWMF) was set up in memory of a beloved dad and all other dock workers and industry workers that have sadly lost their lives to Mesothelioma following exposure to asbestos. The aim of the RHDWMF is to support and raise vital funds towards the much needed research into finding a cure for Mesothelioma.
As a fundraising event starting on the 28 July 2012 Raymond’s daughters Anita and Lorraine, together with family members Stewart, Ryan and Roy, are embarking on the 96 mile West Highland Way, walking from Milngavie, near Glasgow to Fort William. When they eventually reach Fort William six days later, to complete the fundraising event they’re climbing Ben Nevis! All monies raised will go to the June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund.
Cheer them along by donating online via their Just Giving page.
