China breaks law to ship asbestos

A Chinese company has been illegally exporting asbestos roofing panels into Australia for use in schools, the International Ban Asbestos Secretariat has announced.

Following these revelations, the UK division of the Yuanda Group has been asked for assurances that it has not also used asbestos illegally on its flagship projects in London, including 100 Bishopsgate (completion 2018), Newington Butts (2017), Nova Victoria (2017), One Blackfriars Road (2017), Indescon Court 2 and others.
