Join us for Action Mesothelioma Day 2019
June 19, 2019
Join us on Friday 5 July 2019 for our annual Action Mesothelioma Day event when we will be bringing together patients, families, doctors, nurses and researchers to develop a deeper understanding of research in mesothelioma and its role in improving treatment and care.
When? Friday 5 July 2019, 10am until 4pm
Where? Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wellington Street, Leeds LS1 4D
The hotel is just 10-minutes level walk from Leeds Railway Station and there are regular buses along Wellington Street.
The June Hancock Mesothelioma Research Fund holds an Action Mesothelioma Day in Leeds every year. This is our 14th event since the first AMD in 2006. Our annual ‘Meet the Researchers’ is a special event that uses a different approach to other AMD events. It’s an opportunity to look to the future and find out more about the important research we fund. There are no lectures, instead you can sit down, in small groups, face to face with the researchers, to ask questions or just chat.
The event is free to attend. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and lunch will be provided. Family and friends are welcome.
To book your place, email research@junehancockfund.org, text 07971 480744 or phone 0113 343 0864 (voice mail). Please include your name, address and contact details. Places are limited so please alo let us know the number of attendees and any specific dietary requirements.
You can also book your place by post by downloading our booking form.
Download our AMD Day information leaflet for more details.
